This Chelsea signing will become a superstar according to agent

Football agent, Andrea Pellegatti has expressed belief that Kendry Paez will grow to become a great football player.

Paez was signed by Chelsea back in June from Ecuadorian club, Independiente del Valle for a fee around £17.27m.

The midfielder is still only 16, so he can’t join Chelsea yet until he turns 18 years old.

Paez has however, shown that he has what it takes to thrive at a top club like Chelsea after recently becoming the youngest South American player to score during a World Cup qualifier, thanks to his goal for Ecuador as they beat Bolivia 2-1 back in October.

Speaking to TMW, Pellegatti said of Paez: “He is one of the rising stars of international football.

“He has already made his debut in the Copa Libertadores. He is already in the senior national team. Chelsea are active in their recruitment. They have signed him for 2025.

“We will certainly hear a lot about him.”
