Maresca named something that made him happy during his time at Chelsea

Enzo Maresca managed his first Chelsea game in a 2-2 draw with Wrexham in the US.

“Very happy,” the Italian said when asked to share thoughts about the Blues’ performance. “We just started two weeks ago, the team started doing the things we are working on since day one.

“In terms of concept, idea, the team was very good. We see some of the things that we’ve tried since day one.

“In this moment we try to build up with three and two, it doesn’t matter what is the level of the opponent, when they sit back with 11 behind the ball it isn’t easy.

“I’m very happy about the performance in general, it’s important people see the identity of the team, tonight it was quite clear.”
