Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Omari Kellyman, on his way to medical as new Chelsea player today before signing a six-year deal with an option for a further season.
“All documents [are being] reviewed with Aston Villa for £19m deal.”
Kellyman will therefore be contracted to Chelsea until 2030 with an option to extend the deal until 2031.
The 18-year-old is an attacking midfielder who made his Aston Villa debut this season. He’s made six senior appearances, including two in the Premier League.
