So sad as another Chelsea player opens door for Stamford Bridge exit this summer.

One current Chelsea player has opened up the door for a Stamford Bridge exit this summer and makes some intriguing comments on a potential future move.

Chelsea are likely to sell at least a handful of players this summer transfer window, with the homegrown players the most likely to be under threat of being sold – being pure profit sales.

Conor Gallagher is already the subject of a pending offer from Tottenham and interest from Aston Villa in a report today, and another homegrown player has admitted that he might have to leave the club this summer as well.

Armando Broja has just had a disastrous loan move to Fulham in the second half of this season and it really has wasted four months of his development and career. He barely played at all for them.

He will at least have the Euros as a sort of shop window to show what he can do this summer ahead of a potential move away from Chelsea, and that sounds like it is exactly what he might try to do.

I think him leaving is inevitable and in fact, these words below are probably even quite diplomatic. I think he probably already knows he is off this summer and Chelsea want to sell him.

Broja told The Athletic today:

“Nothing has been decided yet, but if I need to go somewhere else to get back in my groove, then of course I would want to do that. As a player, there is no better feeling than being on the pitch and knowing you have a club and a team who defends you; a club who allow you to make mistakes because they know you will become something.”

Interesting, seems like a slight dig at Chelsea there.
