Chelsea possible lineup vs Newcastle as Mudryk and Cucurella decisions made, Gallagher replaced

Mauricio Pochettino has a few big decisions to make for this evening’s Premier League fixture between Chelsea and Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

Pochettino ruled Levi Colwill (toes) and Ben Chilwell (knee) out of the game during his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon. The Chelsea head coach also confirmed his doubts over Conor Gallagher, who has been struggling with a virus recently and has been absent from training as a result.

The Blues’ injury list is back up to double digits with the trio now included on it. As well as Colwill, Chilwell and Gallagher, the likes of Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Lesley Ugochukwu, Romeo Lavia, Carney Chukwuemeka, Christopher Nkunku and Benoit Badiashile all remain sidelined.

Pochettino is once again down to the barebones within his squad, as is Eddie Howe at Newcastle. With all of this being said, Bobby Vincent has a go at predicting what team Pochettino will go with for this evening’s clash.
