Chelsea set to sell four key players in the summer transfer

Chelsea have reportedly decided on the four players they are willing to sell this summer in a bid to avoid FFP issues.

Chelsea have spent over £1 billion on transfers since Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali took over the club from Roman Abramovich in 2022, but the investments have delivered little on-field success.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently 11th in the Premier League table, and look certain to miss out on qualifying for European competition for a second successive season.

Off the field, things aren’t going too smoothly either.

According to The Telegraph, speculation is growing among Chelsea’s rivals that the club need to raise around £100 million by the end of June this year in order to avoid breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.

The regulations prohibit teams from recording losses of over £105 million over a three-year period, with each financial year ending on June 30.

This financial year Chelsea have already brought in over £100m by selling Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Ethan Ampadu
