How Raheem Sterling sets new Premier League record after against City

Raheem Sterling sets another EPL record after scoring against Man City. Become the first to do this

Raheem Sterling finally broke his goal drought in the Premier League, which stretched across his last nine matches.

The 29-year-old was Chelsea’s goalscorer during Saturday evening’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad stadium.

Sterling found the net in the 31st minute, before Rodri later equalised for Man City.

With his strike tonight, Raheem Sterling has now become the first player in the Premier League to score against Man City both home and away in the same season after playing for them, according to Opta

Sterling is also the second highest goalscorer at the Etihad, with 52 goals— just behind City legend, Sergio Aguero, who racked up 106 for the Citizens.

Surprisingly, Raheem Sterling was the first player to be subbed off against Man City, and he seemed far from happy as he went off the pitch.
