“Chelsea’s Radar Blares: A World-Class Defender’s Saga Unfolds, Fueling Anticipation for an Imminent Move”
Chelsea have reportedly been alerted to the situation of one world class defender ahead of a potential move to try and sign him.
The Blues are weighing up new left backs in the summer and want to bring in some competition for Ben Chilwell.
That is according to a report from The Daily Mirror this weekend.
They claim that Chelsea are among the clubs monitoring Alphonso Davies’ contract situation at Bayern Munich.
The Canadian left-back’s current deal is due to expire in the summer of 2025 and talks over an extension are yet to reach a positive conclusion.
Chelsea are targeting a new left-back in the summer as competition for Ben Chilwell with Levi Colwill expected to displace Thiago Silva at the heart of defence.
However, it is not a given they will move for Davies if he is demanding a substantial wage at Bayern.
There’s also Real Madrid and Manchester City mentioned as clubs who are interested in Davies as well, so this one could be a tough one to do.
