Spurs set to sign 18-year-old star, Chelsea faces potential reverse-Willian situation
Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Antonio Nusa, the Club Brugge winger who Chelsea chased in the summer and even made a late bid for.
There had been plenty of chatter about us restarting our interest this month, but it seems we’ve moved too slowly and Spurs have taken pole position. Some are saying a move could be confirmed as soon as today for the Norway international who has shown he’s got a lot of speed, skill and ability while playing in Belgium, and is already good enough to upgrade to a top league.
Tottenham fans shouldn’t get too smug about stealing this deal from under our noses. It’s only a year since some hubris-ridden Chelsea fans were teasing Arsenal for the way that we robbed Mykhailo Mudryk from them at the last minute – and look how that turned out for us.
On the other hand, imagine if this became a “reverse-Willian”?
