Spanish giants unwilling to pay £20m for Chelsea player’s transfer
Mario Cortegana’s piece in the Athletic about Real Madrid’s goalkeeping situation has some interesting content for Chelsea fans.

According to Cortegana, Kepa was promised that he would be number one for Madrid, and he turned down a move to Bayern at the last minute (with a private jet already en route to take him to Bavaria) because he believed he would be undisputed first choice for Los Blancos.
Instead, the opposite has happened. Andriy Lunin has gradually forced Kepa out of the starting job at the Bernabeu, and while Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t want to say it openly, Lunin is now without doubt his number one.
