Chelsea Chief spotted in Brazil to sign world-class winger

Chelsea are keen on strengthening their attacking options by signing a new winger before January transfer window closes.

The West London club were hugely active during the summer transfer window last year as they completed the signings of several players including Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and Nicolas Jackson.

Despite all these additions last summer, Chelsea football club remain keen on signing some more players as they prepare for the second half of the ongoing 2023/2024 football season.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea football club have been linked with a transfer move for highly-rated Palmeiras right-winger Estevao Willian this month.

The 16-year-old Brazil International, who gained promotion to the Palmeiras U17 squad back in 2021 has proven to be one of the best young wingers in the Brazilian league so far.

The young right-winger was quite involved for Palmeiras during the 2022/2023 season where he scored two goals and created one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions.

The highly-rated Estevao Willian has also been quite influential for Palmeiras so far this ongoing 2023/2024 football season, scoring four goals in the three matches he has played.

His excellent performances on the wings is believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea football club and according to reports from Transfer News Live, the Blues are keen on signing him.

The reports further claimed that Chelsea football club are really interested in Estevao Willian and have sent their representatives to Brazil to secure a transfer move for the young right-winger.

It is believed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants more attacking reinforcements this year and the Premier League side are looking to push through a move for Estevao Willian.

That said, it remains to be seen if Chelsea football club will reach a quick agreement with Brazilian side Palmeiras and secure the transfer of Estevao Willian before the end of the January transfer window.
