Agent reacts to Hakim Ziyech coming back to Chelsea
The agent of Hakim Ziyech has reacted to reports that the Moroccan could be on his way back to Stamford Bridge this month.
This week, multiple reports have emerged claiming that Galatasaray want to cut Ziyech’s season-long loan deal with them short because they’re not pleased with him.
The 30-year-old has made 10 goal contributions in 14 games during his time with the Turkish club, even though half of them came in their 3-3 UEFA Champions League draw with Manchester United last year.
Ziyech hasn’t played enough because of recurring injury problems, and Galatasaray are reportedly growing impatient with him, according to Turkish outlet, NTV Spor.
The report was further fuelled when his agent, George Gardi was quoted to have confirmed the development. However, he has now moved to debunk the rumours, stating that he never said anything like that.
“I never made any statement on Ziyech and I don’t know this person who wrote using my name,” Gardi said.
It is believed that Ziyech’s loan contract with Galatasaray includes an obligation to buy, and if that is the case, he would not be coming back to Stamford Bridge now or at the end of the season.
