Pochettino offers double apologies after chaotic 4-4 match, completely overlooking Pep

Mauricio Pochettino had to apologise to the referee and to Pep Guardiola this evening in his press conference, all because of what had happened in the moments after the final whistle.

The Chelsea coach was frustrated that the man in the middle, Anthony Taylor, had blown up while his team were about to counter attack. He stormed onto the field and not only barracked Taylor, but also missed his handshake with Guardiola in the meantime.

“I forgot about Pep” he laughed as he explained the whole situation.
