Mykhailo Mudryk gives an exciting Instagram update before Chelsea’s match with Tottenham
Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has uploaded a positive post on social media ahead of Monday’s trip to Tottenham.
Chelsea make the short trip across London on Monday night to play Spurs in the Premier League.
The good news is that Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, is back from injury ahead of the London derby.
He’s missed the last couple of matches with a small muscle problem. However, Chelsea announced via their official website this week that Mudryk has been back in full team training.
Chelsea fan favourite
Mudryk has reassured Chelsea fans on his fitness with a post on social media.
He uploaded a picture of him on the training ground with the following caption:
“Nice feeling back on the pitch,” Mudryk wrote yesterday on his Instagram story.
Mykhailo Mudryk ready to burst Spurs bubble
We think you can put forward a good case for Mudryk to come straight back into the XI against Spurs.
Yes, Spurs are flying right now and will have big confidence for Monday. There’s a good chance they play into Chelsea’s strength at the same time, though.
With the pace and directness in the Blues attack, we can definitely imagine us posing a serious threat on the counter-attack.
Mudryk is as fast as they come!
The forward has scored two goals in his previous three league games, including in the draw against Arsenal.
It does feel like this attack is slowly taking shape under Mauricio Pochettino, with the likes of Mudryk, Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer finding some kind of form.
Now we are starting to see why Chelsea invested so heavily in Mudryk. The two games against Spurs and Manchester City before the international break give the perfect opportunity to grab the headlines in an important fixture.
