Enzo Fernandez reaches out to Benoît Badiashile after his comeback for Chelsea last night
Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has claimed he is very happy to see Benoît Badiashile back on the pitch at Stamford Bridge.
He posted an Instagram story welcoming back the Frenchman as he made his first appearance of the season in the EFL Cup last night.
Badiashile hadn’t been seen since back in May, when he suffered an injury in training.

When Frank Lampard hinted that he would be out for sometime, many didn’t expect it would be the best part of six months until he would be on the pitch last night.
The 22-year-old didn’t take long to make his impact again, as he scored the opening goal against Blackburn last night.
The Blues won 2-0 in the end, booking their place in the quarter-finals.
Fernandez on Badiashile
Another star performer on the night was Fernandez, who ran the show in the midfield after missing the last game against Brentford.
It was notable how Chelsea missed his ability to keep a game ticking in the West London derby, as they fell to another home defeat.
Now though, it looks as if he has returned as well as Badiashile.
The World Cup winner has now taken to social media to send a message to the Frenchman after his first appearance of the season.
He said: “Very happy to see you again on the pitch bro.”
It remains to be seen that whether the hour in the tank will be enough for the defender to feature again on Monday night against Tottenham.
In the club’s strongest 11 when all fit, it is hard to argue that Badiashile will not be part of it.
He would likely be in to replace Thiago Silva, who has played every Premier League game so far this season.
