Incredible: Mudryk on fire for Ukraine

Chelsea winger, Mykhailo Mudryk put on an incredible display for Ukraine on Tuesday night, as they overcame Malta 3-1 during their 2024 European Championship qualifier.

Mudryk was very confident on the ball, and looked menacing whenever he moved towards the opposition goal.

His hard work did pay off on two different occasions during the game, as he earned the penalty that helped Ukraine to go 2-1 up just before halftime, and then, scored a goal of his own in the second-half period to make it 3-1 for his country.

Mudryk’s goal was a product of a beautiful solo effort, and was a fitting way to crown his efforts on the night. The Chelsea star was also named ‘Man of The Match’ for his contributions, with an 8.3 rating by Whoscored (the highest anyone was given).

It is also worthy of mention that Mudryk’s goal against Malta was his first for his national team, and it comes at a crucial time when his confidence appears to be growing really fast.
