Frank Leboeuf, a former star for Chelsea, has expressed scepticism about Armando Broja because he hasn’t been persuaded of his abilities.
Leboeuf hopes that Christopher Nkunku can soon make a full recovery and rejoin the team.
After tearing his cruciate ligament in preseason, Broja just made a comeback for Chelsea.
He contributed to the Blues’ 2-0 Premier League victory over Fulham last week.
“I pray that Nkunku will return very, very soon because, as of right now, Broja, I’m not sure. It takes time because he is recovering from an injury. Jackson is improving, yes,” Leboeuf remarked on ESPN.
But given what I’ve observed of Nkunku over a number of years, a frontline will be really competitive.
