Inter Milan are keen on signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja in January; Details
The Gazzetta dello Sport are today reporting that Inter Milan are keen on signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja in January.
The Italian side’s summer arrivals Alexis Sanchez and Marko Arnautovic haven’t been cutting it so far, leaving the Filipo Inzaghi a little short of goals up top when Lautaro Martinez isn’t playing. Apparently they’re monitoring Broja and his playing time to see if a January move might be possible.
That makes a change from the rumours of last summer, which tended to position AC Milan as the interested party. Clearly priorities have changed in Lombardy.
But regardless of which of the Milanese teams are interested, it all feels very unlikely. Broja has just returned from injury, and he is our only true striker to back up and compete with Nicolas Jackson. It’s difficult to see the club sanctioning his departure.
The only exception would be if Chelsea sign a real superstar striker in January. But what are the chances of that?
