Very clear: Reece James sends one-word clear message to Jude Bellingham

Reece James has congratulated Jude Bellingham after he scored again for Real Madrid at the weekend. The 20-year-old has hit the ground running in the Spanish capital following an eye-watering transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Prior to his move to the Santiago Bernabeu, Bellingham was subject to long-term interest from Chelsea, football.london understands. The west Londoners watched the midfielder during his time as an academy player at Birmingham City but, after deciding against a bid, the Bundesliga outfit swooped in and signed him instead.

Chelsea have been left to rue the decision to not sign Bellingham when they had the chance, and now he’s arguably the most exciting young player in Europe. On Saturday afternoon, Real Madrid put four past Osasuna with the England international finding the net twice.

Bellingham put Carlo Ancelotti’s side ahead inside the opening ten minutes before doubling Los Blancos’ lead shortly into the second-half. The youngster’s brace has seen him match Cristiano Ronaldo’s record, scoring 10 goals in his first 10 matches for Real Madrid.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner achieved the feat in 2009 and he went on to end the campaign with 33 goals in 35 appearances. Earlier this season, Bellingham boasted a better start to life at the Bernabeu than Ronaldo, scoring eight times in his first eight La Liga games – the Portuguese star managed just seven!

After Real Madrid’s win over Osasuna, the Englishman marked his performance with celebratory post on Instagram. The comment section was flooded with messages of support from the likes of Erling Haaland, Antonio Rudiger and Thibaut Courtois.
