Just in – Jude Bellingham sent Reece James message after Kai Havertz slammed by ex-Chelsea defender
Eden Hazard’s brother, Kylian, has encouraged the former Chelsea and Real Madrid star to hang up his boots. The 32-year-old winger has been left without a club this season after his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu was terminated despite still having a year left.
In an interview with Spanish publication Diario AS, Kylian said: “At the moment he’s not moving, but I don’t know if his career is over. If he makes a final decision, it will be up to him to say so. Eden is in Madrid, because his children go to school there and he has decided to relax for now.
“He is trying to enjoy life for now. He still loves football, it has always been his greatest passion and that’s why he gave everything for every team he played for.
“He did everything he could and won trophies at every club he played for, including Real Madrid. If I were him, I would retire immediately. After a long career like his, I think Eden deserves to spend time with his family.”
Palmer decision proven right…
Jason Cundy believes that Cole Palmer is the player which Chelsea thought they had signed in Kai Havertz. The 21-year-old midfielder, who joined from Manchester City late into the summer transfer window, guided the Blues to a 4-1 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Despite only a handful of appearances for the west London outfit, pundits have already claimed that Palmer is significant upgrade on Havertz. The Germany international swapped Stamford Bridge for the Emirates Stadium earlier this summer, and he’s struggled to impress at his new club.
“Cole Palmer is turning out to be the player that we hoped Kai Havertz would be,” said Jason Cundy on talkSPORT’s Game Day Phone-In show. “He’s in a slightly different position, but he’s the player that we hoped Havertz would turn into and he looks like a class act.
“We’ve not played badly this season. The performances have not got us the results that I think we’ve deserved but today we were ruthless.”
Reece James has congratulated Jude Bellingham after he scored again for Real Madrid at the weekend. The 20-year-old has hit the ground running in the Spanish capital following an eye-watering transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
On Saturday afternoon, Los Blancos put four past Osasuna with the England international finding the net twice. Bellingham put Carlo Ancelotti’s side ahead inside the opening ten minutes before doubling Los Blancos’ lead shortly into the second-half. The youngster’s brace has seen him match Cristiano Ronaldo’s record, scoring 10 goals in his first 10 matches for Real Madrid.
After Real Madrid’s win over Osasuna, the Englishman marked his performance with celebratory post on Instagram. The comment section was flooded with messages of support from the likes of Erling Haaland, Antonio Rudiger and Thibaut Courtois.
But one message from James stood out, racking up almost 20,000 likes. The Chelsea defender simply wrote: “Serious.”
