Latest Injury Update: Chelsea relieved in injury boost on Key Player ahead of Bournemouth match

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk appears to have escaped a potential injury as he was seen training with his Ukraine teammates on Sunday.

The Ukraine international was substituted after signalling he felt pain in his calf in the 90th minute of the 1-1 draw against England in the ongoing Euro 2024 qualifiers in Poland on Saturday.

The moment occurred when the player fell as he attempted to change direction under pressure from Manchester City Kyle Walker.

However, Mudryk was spotted running on the grass at a Fair play Arena just outside Wroclaw in Ukraine’s recovery training session on Sunday.

The player has been included in the squad to face Italy at the San Siro on Tuesday as Ukraine and Italy battle for 2nd place in group C table. Meanwhile Southgate’s England sit at the top of the table.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will hope that Mudryk returns to Cobham fully fit with up to 11 first-team players currently out injured ahead of the Premier League trip to Bournemouth on Sunday.
