🚨 Liverpool Star Undergoes Medical TODAY as Shocking Contract Twist Revealed! 💣📝

🚨 Liverpool Star Set for Medical TODAY as Stunning Contract Twist Emerges! 🔁✍️

A significant Liverpool transfer is close to completion, with a medical scheduled for today, according to a fresh report.

Ben Jacobs revealed on X that Jarell Quansah is set to undergo medical checks at Bayer Leverkusen on Monday, following an agreement on a €35 million transfer fee, which could rise beyond €40 million with add-ons.

Importantly, Jacobs noted that Liverpool have included a buyback clause in the deal—ensuring they maintain long-term influence over the 22-year-old’s future. This detail was also backed by Fabrizio Romano.

Quansah, born in Warrington, has long been admired within the club after progressing through Liverpool’s academy and earning recognition with England’s senior squad. He ended his summer on a high by playing a key role in England U21’s European Championship triumph over the weekend.

Despite his promise and homegrown status, Quansah made just one Premier League start after January last season. With Bayer Leverkusen set for another Champions League campaign, the Bundesliga move could provide the ideal environment for his growth.

Medical underway today — but Liverpool keep the door open for Quansah’s return.

Quansah’s departure is set to become Liverpool’s third major exit of the summer, following Caoimhin Kelleher’s move to Brentford and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s high-profile transfer to Real Madrid.

Liverpool’s recruitment team is said to have thoroughly evaluated squad depth, with Marc Guehi frequently mentioned as a potential defensive reinforcement.

The inclusion of a buyback clause gives Liverpool strategic leverage, allowing them to monitor Quansah’s development closely—without hindering his progress behind established names like Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, and Joe Gomez.

Liverpool recently completed a £116 million deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, though Quansah’s potential sale is believed to be unrelated—despite speculative financial theories circulating online.

Jacobs didn’t confirm whether Quansah’s medical will take place in Germany or be conducted by a Leverkusen team based in the UK.

With Leverkusen eager to finalise the move swiftly, an official announcement could be imminent.
