🚨 DONE DEAL: Liverpool strike agreement to land lethal attacking weapon – official report!

Liverpool Set to Land Future African Star in €1m Deal – Report

Liverpool have reportedly secured an agreement to sign one of Africa’s brightest rising stars, with 15-year-old Sidy Barhama Ndiaye on course to join the Reds from Senegalese club Diambars FC.

As revealed by journalist Nabil Djellit on X, the Merseyside club has agreed a €1 million deal for the talented winger, who caught the eye with standout performances at the recent U17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Although Ndiaye won’t be eligible to officially move to Anfield until December 2027 when he turns 18, Liverpool have acted swiftly to lock in the deal ahead of Europe’s elite.

The young winger, born in 2009, was ever-present for Senegal during the tournament and is known for his ability to play on both flanks, adding exciting depth to the Reds’ future wide options.

Djellit noted: “Liverpool were impressed by Sidy Barhama Ndiaye during the U17 AFCON. The Senegalese winger is set to leave Diambars and is expected to join Liverpool. The deal is estimated at €1 million.”

This move signals Liverpool’s intent to broaden their scouting focus beyond Europe’s elite talents like Florian Wirtz, identifying a potential generational winger in Ndiaye.

While much of the spotlight is on Liverpool’s high-profile pursuit of Florian Wirtz, the club’s latest move underscores a continued commitment to youth development.

During the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, Sidy Barhama Ndiaye impressed with an average of 8.84 dribbles per 90 minutes and 3.5 recoveries in the opposition half—stats that reflect the kind of high-energy, pressing style that aligns perfectly with our head coach’s vision.

Football analyst Bence Bocsak described the 15-year-old as: “Blisteringly quick, already excelling above his age group, and exactly the kind of wide player Liverpool look for.”

It’s no shock that the Reds acted swiftly—recent successful integrations of Trey Nyoni from Leicester and Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea highlight the club’s clear pathway from academy to first-team football.

Ndiaye’s potential signing appears to be part of a broader, globally-minded recruitment strategy, aimed at staying one step ahead in identifying elite young talent.

Targeting Senegal—particularly through Diambars, the academy that also produced Idrissa Gana Gueye—signals a smart, coordinated effort across Liverpool’s scouting network.

This youth-focused strategy comes as Liverpool also show confirmed interest in Hugo Ekitike, hinting at a wider effort to reinforce attacking depth both now and for seasons to come.
