“Tottenham’s £10m Quest for the Next Lucas Bergvall: Rising Star Ignites European Transfer Frenzy”

“Tottenham in £10m Showdown for the Next Lucas Bergvall: A Rising Star Sparks a Transfer Battle”

Amid growing speculation about Swedish talent Roony Bardghji potentially joining Tottenham Hotspur, reports now suggest that a European club has made a bid for the Copenhagen winger. Tottenham’s transfer strategy has been a topic of considerable discussion in recent years, with some sources hinting that the Spurs recruitment team may focus on acquiring seasoned players rather than youthful prospects during this summer’s transfer window.

The report emphasized that this shift in transfer policy doesn’t rule out Tottenham’s pursuit of promising talents, akin to their recent finds such as Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, and Luka Vuskovic. Among those on their radar is the young Swedish star Roony Bardghji, with multiple sources suggesting that Spurs could make a move for him in the upcoming transfer window.

Bardghji has declined to extend his contract with Copenhagen, and with his current deal set to expire in January 2026, his time at the Danish club seems limited.

Porto Makes a Move for Roony Bardghji

Porto has stepped up as the first club to express formal interest in 19-year-old Roony Bardghji. Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced on social media that the Portuguese side has officially submitted an offer for the talented attacker.

However, Romano did not reveal the offer’s value or suggest its likelihood of acceptance, noting that negotiations are still in the early stages.

Romano also mentioned that numerous clubs across Europe are eager to secure Bardghji’s signature, though he did not specify which teams are in the mix.

What Would Tottenham Need to Pay for Bardghji?

Due to the Sweden Under-21 international’s contract status, Copenhagen is reportedly open to selling Bardghji at a discounted price.

GiveMeSport recently reported that Tottenham could secure the young winger for £10 million, with the teenager reportedly interested in joining fellow Swedish prospect Lucas Bergvall at Hotspur Way.

However, the same report noted that other Premier League clubs, including Newcastle and Aston Villa, have also engaged in discussions with Bardghji’s representatives regarding a potential summer transfer.
