“Dynamic Liverpool Star to Receive Fresh Deal After Hinting at Anfield Exit – Report”

Last week, Mo Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool, and reports suggest that Virgil van Dijk is also nearing an agreement to extend his stay on Merseyside. Now, according to the Liverpool Echo (via Rousing The Kop), there’s even more positive contract news for the club.

Goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros, who had expressed a desire to leave the Reds in the summer, is reportedly set to sign a new deal after making his Premier League debut this season. The 23-year-old Czech international came on as a substitute for the injured Caoimhin Kelleher during Liverpool’s clash at Selhurst Park in October, impressing fans and staff alike. He followed up with a starting role in the League Cup match against Brighton later that month.

Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Jaros has gained valuable experience through loan spells at St. Pat’s (Ireland), Notts County, Stockport, and Sturm Graz (Austria). Most recently, he was on the bench during Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over West Ham at Anfield. With his new deal on the horizon, Jaros appears eager to push for more first-team opportunities next season.

Meanwhile, current second-choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher could be on his way out this summer, with just over a year left on his contract. Chelsea is reportedly among the clubs interested in securing his services. Additionally, Giorgi Mamardashvili is expected to join Liverpool for pre-season after spending the 2024/25 season on loan at Valencia.

Described as “brilliant” during pre-season by a teammate, Jaros has shown glimpses of his potential this season, leaving fans optimistic about his future with the Reds.
