“Marco Silva’s Fulham Blow Liverpool’s Title Bid Wide Open”

“Marco Silva Shatters Liverpool’s Title Hopes After Fulham’s Stunning Rout”

Marco Silva has no misconceptions about Liverpool’s strength as Premier League title contenders.

To call Fulham’s 3-2 victory over the Reds in London merely “impressive” wouldn’t do justice to their performance.

Over the course of the match, the Cottagers clearly looked the more deserving side to take all three points.

As for Liverpool, they’ll likely chalk this up as a minor misstep in an otherwise strong and consistent campaign in the 2024/25 season.

That is, as long as fans aren’t treated to another lackluster, mid-table-style showing anytime soon.

Despite the setback, Silva remains confident that Liverpool are still on course to become Premier League champions.

Marco Silva all but admitted he sees Liverpool lifting the Premier League trophy this season.

What stood out even more, though, was the former Everton manager’s reluctance to over-celebrate Fulham’s latest big-name victory.

“I can’t say this one ranks above some of our other big wins,” Silva told Sky Sports. “Maybe it feels bigger because Liverpool hadn’t lost away all season — and we know what’s likely to happen with them this year.”

We’ll leave it to the 47-year-old to decide which of Fulham’s triumphs deserves top billing. But from our side, hats off to the Londoners for a superb home performance — another shining example of the club’s impressive evolution under Silva.

Is There Still Hope for Arsenal?
With all due respect to Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal squad — this title race might already be a foregone conclusion.

An 11-point cushion with just seven games remaining should (emphasis on should) mean Liverpool have one hand firmly on the trophy.

That said, we’d all breathe a little easier if the Reds delivered a dominant response against West Ham next weekend.

Even better if a few underwhelming performers — Mo Salah included — rediscover their best form after a string of lackluster outings.

Shame we couldn’t stretch the gap to 14 points and deal an even heavier blow to our rivals’ morale!
