“Luis Enrique Rages Over ‘Unfair’ First Leg and Sends Fierce Warning to Liverpool!”
“Luis Enrique Blasts ‘Unfair’ First Leg and Fires a Warning Shot at Liverpool!”
PSG boss Luis Enrique has hit out at the first leg as “very unfair” and cautioned Liverpool, claiming his side deserved a better result.
PSG enter the second leg at Anfield facing a 1-0 deficit after Harvey Elliott’s late strike secured a hard-fought win for Liverpool at the Parc des Princes.
Despite PSG’s dominance, they were repeatedly frustrated by a sensational display from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, who produced a string of brilliant saves to keep out Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué, preserving the Reds’ slender advantage.
Luis Enrique Confident PSG Can Complete Comeback
Despite the first-leg defeat, Luis Enrique remains optimistic, insisting PSG have what it takes to turn things around at Anfield.
After the match, the Spanish coach voiced his frustration with the result:
“A comeback next week? Absolutely—we’re going to do it. The result was completely unfair. They had one shot and scored. Their best player was the goalkeeper. It felt a bit strange. I’m very proud of my team—we were the better side.”
Liverpool have had an outstanding season, but this was hardly their finest display. PSG dictated the game, and if not for Alisson’s brilliance, the result could have been very different.
Now, all eyes turn to Anfield for a decisive second leg. Can Liverpool hold their ground, or will PSG finally make their dominance count?
