Jurgen Klopp’s impact at Liverpool is unforgettable, with the team’s present achievements reflecting the strong foundation he established during his time at the helm.

Although no longer at the helm, it’s clear that Jurgen Klopp still holds a deep affection for Liverpool and its players—a sentiment Curtis Jones highlighted following the win over Leicester. Speaking to Optus Sport, the midfielder shared:

“I came in and normally text my family, but I saw a message from [Jurgen] Klopp saying, ‘Congratulations on 100 games and here’s to 500.’
I was like, ‘What is he on about?’ I checked and realized it was my 100th Premier League appearance, and I felt proud.
It was him who set up the team we have now. The foundation was there, and Arne Slot has carried it on.”

Klopp’s decision to be the first to congratulate Jones shows just how closely he continues to follow Liverpool’s progress, even after stepping away from the club.

Klopp’s Ongoing Devotion to Liverpool

Even while on holiday, Klopp continues to engage with Liverpool fans globally, highlighting his enduring connection to the club. Though he has hinted at a return to Anfield, the former Champions League-winning manager has yet to make an appearance at the stadium since his emotional departure last summer.

With his current role at Red Bull reportedly keeping him out of the spotlight, it’s unclear when fans might next see him at Anfield.

As Liverpool enjoys a fantastic start to the season under Arne Slot, it’s inspiring to think of a future where both Klopp and Slot are celebrated for their pivotal roles in the club’s continued success.
