“Tottenham Fans Unite in Outrage After Devastating 6-3 Loss to Liverpool”
“Tottenham Fans Are All Saying the Same Thing After Devastating 6-3 Defeat to Liverpool”
Spurs fans are frustrated with one individual at the club.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have flooded social media after their 6-3 defeat to Liverpool at home, all expressing the same frustration.
With Chelsea’s inability to close the gap on Liverpool with a win at Goodison Park on Sunday, the Reds seized the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the league with a win over Spurs.
In a commanding display, Liverpool cruised to a 6-3 victory, with goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Mohamed Salah securing the three points on their travels.
Following the match, Tottenham fans flooded online platforms, pointing to one key factor they believe led to the brutal loss against the league leaders.
While fans of other clubs may be questioning the security of Ange Postecoglou’s position after the result, Tottenham fans have rallied online in support of the Australian manager, instead placing the blame on the club’s ownership.
Reacting to the heavy loss on Sunday, one fan posted: “The squad is decimated and full of kids. No other manager could do better with this team right now.”
“Keep the pressure on the board and Levy so Ange gets the tools he needs,” one fan urged.
Another chimed in, saying: “Liverpool fans would never accept or tolerate a Daniel Levy or ENIC for 5 years, let alone 24. They would never meekly accept such garbage ownership!”
One frustrated supporter fumed: “The club is a disgrace. Embarrassing us and turning us into a laughing stock for 25 years. Things weren’t perfect before them, but we never had this. Daniel Levy, Cullen, and the rest of them are an absolute disgrace. Just go… please.”
Ahead of the match, Tottenham fans gathered outside the stadium to protest against the ownership, holding black balloons emblazoned with ‘Levy Out’ as a powerful message.
During the game, the black balloons could be seen making their way onto the pitch on several occasions, with striker Dominic Solanke even tripping over one at one point.
The result puts Liverpool four points clear at the top of the league, with a game in hand still to be played against Everton.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are struggling this season, sitting 11th in the Premier League, eight points adrift of the top four.
