Arsenal will likely view their recent draw with Fulham as a major stumbling block in their pursuit of the Premier League title.

Liverpool Maintain Top Spot Despite Dropped Points, Arsenal and City Miss Key Opportunity

Liverpool’s rare slip-up at St. James’ Park and the postponed Merseyside derby offered Arsenal and Manchester City a golden chance to close the gap in the Premier League title race. However, both sides failed to capitalize, keeping Liverpool comfortably in the lead as attention turns to Tottenham’s high-stakes clash with Chelsea.

Martin Odegaard’s Take on the Title Race

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard voiced his disappointment following their draw with Fulham but insisted his team remains focused on their own journey.

“We dominated most of the game,” Odegaard told Sky Sports (via BBC Sport). “The first half wasn’t great. We were a bit sloppy and lacked energy. The second half was better, but it’s frustrating not to win. Fulham’s a solid team defensively, but we didn’t do enough today. We need to learn from this and move on.”

He added: “We have to focus on ourselves. We don’t care about the other teams [in the title race].”

Odegaard, who returned from injury with a brief appearance in Arsenal’s Champions League loss to Inter Milan, has been a key contributor this season, registering four goals and four assists in 10 appearances.

Premier League Title Race Update

Despite their draw, Liverpool retains a six-point lead over Arsenal and an eight-point cushion over Manchester City. The timing of Liverpool’s rescheduled Merseyside derby remains undecided, but a win at Goodison Park could reinforce their position as title favorites and further diminish the chances of their rivals.

Premier League Table (as of now):

As the race continues to heat up, all eyes will be on Tottenham’s upcoming clash with Chelsea to see if the balance at the top shifts further.
